Laura Šakaja on language and space (radio broadcast)

Laura Šakaja was a guest-speaker in the radio broadcast “Language and the Prejudices” (“Jezik i predrasude”) by the First Programme of the Croatian Radio. The discussion with L. Šakaja was lead by Irena Plejić, the editor of the broadcast, and was aired in two parts, on June 7th and 14th 2016. The talk focused on multiple ways in which geography dealt with the relationship between language and space –  from the expansion or withdrawal of languages as a result of migration to ideologically motivated changes in (city) toponymy.
