A new co-authored article by Nevena Škrbić Alempijević published by Palgrave Macmillan

A co-authored article, written by Nevena Škrbić Alempijević and Kirsti Mathiesen Hjemdahl under the title „Kumrovec Revisited: Tito’s Birthday Party in the Twenty-first Century, An Ethnological Study“, has been published by  Palgrave Macmillan, in the frame of an anthology entitled Titoism, Self-Determination, Nationalism, Cultural Memory. Volume Two, Tito’s Yugoslavia, Stories Untold (eds. Gorana Ognjenović i Jasna Jozelić, New York, 2016). The authors deal with contemporary expressions of social memory related to socialism, embodied through commemorative practices in the birthplace of Josip Broz Tito.
