New e-book “Gardens of our City: notes and studies on the practices of urban gardening” is issued on the project’s web page!

Urban gardening is part of the global movement that advocates the growth of food in cities, construction of local communties, empowering of civil participation in decision-making processes and sustainable city. The book is a collection of notes, analitical studies, esseys and photografies on urban gardening written by researchers, civil activists and urban gardeners. Contributions mostly focus on Zagreb, but also on urbang gardening in Varaždin, Rijeka, Maribor and Havana.

The book was launched  on September 24, 2015 n the public library Bogdan Ogrizović,  Zagreb and it was presented by dr.sc. Melanija Belaj and dr.sc. Dražen Šimleša as well as by editors.
