Exhibition “Spaces Between (Living) Places”: artistic and scientific collaboration

Tonka Maleković’s exhibition “Spaces Between (Living) Places” was open on September 1 in the Student Centre Gallery (Savska 25, Zagreb). Petra Kelemen collaborated in this art and research project. By using her one-year migrant experience of living in Stuttgart, artist Tonka Maleković recorded fragments of her own everyday life and talked with people with similar migrant biographies.

Petra Kelemen has continually followed Tonka Maleković’s work and they have shared their ideas about migrations and about the methodology and forms of artistic and scientific work. Matija Kralj, video artist, documented their joint field research.

For the publication which was published on the occasion of the exhibition Petra Kelemen wrote a text titled “Migration, encounters and recognitions”.
