Jasna Čapo was invited to give a lecture in the framework of the Ludwig-Uhland-Institute’s colloqium on Diversity (Vielfalt). In her lecture, entitled Multiculturalism, diversity, transnationalization: (re)conceiving plurality, she gave a critical overview of conceptualizations of plurality in anthropological studies, paying special attention to the notions of cultural pluralism, multiculturalism, transnationality and (super-)diversity. The latter concept was presented in relation to contemporary cities and discussed in the context of her own and others’ migration research.
