The thematic section of the newest issue of the scientific journal Etnološka tribina focuses on public spaces. The journal is published by the Croatian Ethnological Society and the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. The editors of the thematic section are members of the project research team Valentina Gulin Zrnić and Tihana Rubić, and the editor-in-chief is Petra Kelemen. The thematic section includes eight papers (in Englsih) that problematize public spaces in Istanbul (Turkey), Lisabon (Portugal), Zagreb (Croatia), New Delhi (India), Austin (USA), Jagodina (Serbia), Ljubljana (Sslovenia), and Estonia. The topics they cover were discussed at the panel organized by Valentina Gulin Zrnić and Tihana Rubić for the twelfth SIEF congress (Société Internationale d´Ethnologie et de Folklore) held in Zagreb in June 2015.
