The City between Public Policies and Civil Society

 

Does the city (Zagreb) belong to its citizens? What are the forms of civil protests (on formal or unformal levles) and how much they can influence public and national  policies? What motivates public policies and how they could be monitored? What is the position of academic community in creating public policies? How much the academic community cooperates with civil society?

Participants: Tomislav Domes (Pravo na grad/The Right to the City), Maple J. Razsa (Colby College, USA), Paul Stubbs (Institute of Economics, Zagreb)

The round-table was held at the Multimedial Institut/Club MAMA (Preradovićeva 18, Zagreb) on Wednesday, September 23, 2015. at 7.00pm.
