On February 20, 2018 Tihana Rubić held a lecture and a workshop at the Institute for Ethnology and Folklore Research in Zagreb

Within the platform Tribina IEF-a and the “Transformation of Work in Post-Transition Croatia” project, Tihana Rubić held a lecture “Unemployed in Zagreb: Meaning of Gender and Generation Categories in the Labor Market”. The lecture presented a qualitative long-term study of unemployment, the informal economy and the labor market in Croatia and in the city of Zagreb, focusing on the dynamics of the relationship between generational and gender social categories in the labor market, family life, formal unemployment and the informal economy. After a public lecture, a workshop for researchers on research topics, methods, approaches and problematic issues in relation to unemployment and the labor market in post-transitional context.
