Tihana Rubić met with the Oxford Brookes University’s students

On the 1st of February, 2017 Tihana Rubić met with the Oxford Brookes University’s students at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Zagreb. The students were enrolled in the master’s degree program in International Architectural Regeneration and Development at the School of Architecture. Rubić has presented her ethnological and anthropological research on unemployment and informal economy, and the project “City-making: Space, Culture and Identity”. Students in Zagreb conducted field-research focused on a regeneration project of Zagreb’s Črnomerec district. The task was to explore the wider historical, cultural, social and economic context of the city of Zagreb with the aim of giving new purpose to the abandoned historical building and the revitalization of the entire city district. This was done under the mentorship of prof. Aylin Orbasli and Assistant Julie Wedel.
