From April 7–9 2016 Tihana Rubić participated in an international seminar of the EU-funded EUTERPE (EUropean Traditions in cultural hERitage and Performances)(subproject EUSAIR – The EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region) programme, entitled A Sea of Culture: Towards Culture-based Development in the Adriatic-Ionian Region.
The seminar gathered professors and scientists, artists, professionals in the filed of culture, business and marketing, and activists and members of civil society. Participants came from four countries – partners in the programme: Italy, Greece, Serbia and Croatia.
Tihana Rubić participated in the round table entitled May Culture be the Best Cross-pillar of the EUSAIR?, presenting her research experiences of participation in EU-funded projects. She reflected on the relevance of macro-regional perspective when doing sociocultural research. Topics of the seminar were: audience development and marketing for culture, partnership management, and promotion of cultural policies in the Adriatic-Ionian Region.
